Celebrations of the 77th Republic Day at the Kartvya Path on Monday will be based on the theme of the 150th Anniversary of the national song, Vande Mataram, a timeless mantra that awakened the spirit of Swadeshi, self-reliance, and freedom in India's national consciousness.

"This tradition has been very important to me... I have also performed Ghazals, Qawwalis, folk songs of Braj, Bhajans, Mewati, and Doha Dhani..." said Mewati.
In her address to the nation on the eve of the 77th Republic Day, President Murmu also highlighted various translations of the national song, originally composed by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, that were vital in shaping India's freedom struggle.
The actress described her experience with Diljit Dosanjh as "amazing" while also highlighting the significance of the song in society. She recalled the early days of shooting, saying that everyone was "excited" to work on the project.
