Addressing reporters, the BJP leader accused the Congress government of "tarnishing the Hindu religion" and described Chief Minister Siddaramaiah as having a "Tipu mentality".
Speaking to ANI, Ramchander Rao said that such allegations by the opposition parties only point towards their fear of losing the Bihar Assembly elections.

He accused the government of using force to silence the students and suppress their voices, who were protesting against irregularities in the SSC exam.
In an exclusive interview with ANI, Shah also took aim at Rahul Gandhi and demanded that the Congress leader should give an explanation for the Opposition alliance deciding to pick a nominee who "sympathisised with left-wing ideology" and whose ruling that "disbanded" the "armed civilian
