Prime Minister of the Republic of Fiji Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka on Sunday morning landed in New Delhi for a four-day visit. Rabuka, accompanied by his spouse Suluweti Rabuka, was welcomed by Union Minister of State for Education Sukanta Majumdar.
Fiji PM Sitiveni Rabuka will visit India from August 24-27. His programme includes meetings with PM Modi and President Murmu, wreath laying at Rajghat, MoU exchanges, and an ICWA lecture in Delhi before concluding the visit.

During his first official visit to Fiji, Singh conveyed the warmest greetings of the government and the people of India on the special occasion of Fiji's National Girmit Day, which celebrates a very special legacy that binds the two countries together.
Rabuka made the confession at the Reconciliation Service between the Methodist Church and the Girmitiyas in Suva held at the Vodafone Arena and has asked for forgiveness.
