Lauding India-Singapore ties, the Chairman of the India Heritage Center Advisory Board and Registrar of the National University of Singapore R Rajaram said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Singapore creates a lot of excitement and interest.
"Beyond the bilateral, there is also the issue of closer collaboration in a volatile and uncertain world. In this regard, we must recognise that ours is a partnership based on a high degree of trust and understanding," Jaishankar said.
"We are actually setting the relationship up for a further boost in the new and emerging areas of advanced manufacturing technology. We have a lot to learn from Singapore in terms of skills," the High Commissioner said.
