India's spectacular show in athletics continued with Parul Chaudhary and Priti securing silver and bronze medals respectively in the women’s 3000-metre steeplechase in the ongoing Asian Games on Monday.
Tajinderpal Singh Toor won the country a gold in athletics in the ongoing Asian Games on Sunday. India has 12 medals in athletics so far, with two gold, five silver and five bronze.
Niraj clocked timings of 4:36.314 minutes to finish at the seventh spot. Chinese Taipei's Kuan-Chieh Lai captured the gold (4:15.942 minutes) while Vladlen Denisov of Uzbekistan (4:15.994 minutes) and Timofey Yemelyanov (4:18.810 minutes) of Kazakhstan got silver and bronze respectively.
