Karnataka BJP chief and MLA BY Vijayendra on Wednesday said that the BJP will hold a massive protest in Mysore on July 12 regarding the mismanagement of the Mysore Development Authority (MUDA).
A complaint has been filed against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and nine others for allegedly forging documents to claim compensation from the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA).
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday said that the state has reported 7,362 positive cases to date in Karnataka and instructed the officials to eliminate mosquito breeding sites.
"Keeping in mind the future and development of Ramanagara, Channapatna, Magadi, Kanakapura, Harohalli taluks, a delegation of district leaders led by them has proposed to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to rename Ramanagara district as Bengaluru South District," Shivakumar said.
Siddaramaiah instructed the officers to identify the distressed villages and the implementation of permanent relief measures. He directed for immediate settlement of compensation as per SDRF norms for those whose houses and crops were damaged due to rain this year was also mandated.

Responding to the BJP's allegations of misuse in the MUDA plot allotments and their demand for a CBI inquiry, the CM asked, "Why do they want to hand over everything to the CBI?"
