More than 100 days after Mahsa Amini's death sparked nationwide unrest, a member of Iran's security forces on Sunday was shot dead during protests in the city of Semirom.
He was shot dead by police after a chase as he allegedly refused to stop his motorbike during snap-checking and tried to speed away in Gulistan-i-Jauhar on Tuesday.
According to Delhi Police Special cell on September 19, Sandeep Sethi also known as Sandeep Bishnoi was shot dead while four other persons suffered injuries in an attack by unidentified armed assailants outside the District Court in Nagaur.
Head constable Surendra Bhagat was shot dead by constable Purushottam Singh on Sunday morning here. The incident happened when the head constable was on duty at Government PG College, Kanker district headquarters.
Mirza had arrived at Mirzapur on a motorcycle to give food to his family members and other labourers present at a farm, when he was attacked by a group. The attackers used lathi, sharp weapons and also fired at Mirza.
The youth was shot dead on Wednesday night. The deceased was identified as Prashant Pal (24). The former minister protested along with the body of the youth and demanded the arrest of the accused at the earliest as well as the demolition of the accused's houses.
