According to officials, seven two-wheelers, a container lorry, and three other vehicles were gutted in the firecracker shop explosion that took place on Saturday afternoon.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday ordered the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to investigate the fire accident that happened at a firecracker store in Attibele of Anekal town, which killed 14 people.
Karnataka Director General of Police Alok Mohan on Sunday said that the owner of the firecracker shop in Attibele of Anekal town here where a massive fire broke out on Saturday afternoon claiming 14 lives has been taken into custody.
On getting the information about the incident, the fire brigade team and the police reached the spot. With the efforts of four fire tenders, the fire was brought under control and no casualty was reported in the incident.
