CM Chouhan made the remark while virtually speaking at an industry interaction organised by FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industries) in New Delhi on Thursday.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, on Thursday, met the victim of the Sidhi urination incident at CM house in the state capital, Bhopal, and had lunch with him. Chouhan welcomed the victim, Dashmat Rawat, and also washed his feet as a mark of respect.
"I met the minister, it felt good. He (CM Chouhan) called up my family and spoke to my family. I felt good. Now, I am going back after meeting him," Rawat told ANI.
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan apologized to the victim for the incident and said that he was deeply disturbed and filled with pain after seeing the video. He welcomed him and washed his feet as a mark of respect.
Speaking to ANI about the viral video of the incident, the woman said, "...He is my husband. I want that if something wrong has been done, what has to happen will happen. There should be punishment if something wrong was done."
