Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday asked the Karnataka Government to let politics take it's own route after the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, D K Shivakumar, decided to scrap the National Education Policy (NEP) in the state.
After meeting with representatives of different educational institutions and officials in Bengaluru on Monday, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said that the state government will form a new education policy scrapping the National Education Policy, 2020.
"He (ST Somashekar) has talked to me. I have also told him that it is an internal matter of the party. We will sort it out...I don't have much to say on this..." Joshi said while talking to the reporters.
Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Monday said Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are “neighbours” adding that he doesn’t want both states to fight with each other over the Cauvery issue.
