The Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested three more Indian Youth Congress (IYC) workers from Himachal Pradesh in connection with the controversial "shirtless protest" at the AI Impact Summit.

"An attempt is being made to silence the youth by highlighting the shirtless protest carried out by the Youth Congress during the recent summit in Delhi. Action must be taken against Delhi Police for allegedly conducting a raid at Himachal Sadan without a warrant," he said.
Holding the posters of 'PM Is Compromised', the Congress criticised Chib's arrest, accusing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of dictatorship and divisive politics.
"Congress party should regret this like the way they regret the Emergency - Forever. They will never get out of this. The country will keep reminding them of this shameful exercise," she remarked.
"What happened at the AI Summit was shameful, condemnable and punishable. The Youth Congress workers did not take any permission. You got yourself registered by carrying a QR code."
Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment of Rajasthan, Avinash Gehlot, on Wednesday slammed the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi over the "shirtless" protest at the AI Summit in New Delhi earlier in the month.
The court said that the absence of a person does not exonerate him from criminal liability. Counsel for accsued had argued that he was not physically present at the spot.
