"All our hopes are from the Supreme Court. The Govt is compelled to impose the Waqt Amendment Act in all the states. This is a black law which will destroy all Waqf properties," Jawad told ANI.
Maulana Yasoob Abbas, General Secretary of the All India Shia Personal Law Board, expressed regret after President Droupadi Murmu gave assent to the Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2025, saying they would consult legal experts on the next steps.
