Pakistan on Monday announced their 12-man squad for their upcoming Boxing Day clash against Australia in the Melbourne Cricket Ground with Mohammad Rizwan replacing experienced wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed.
Following his side's 360-run loss to Australia in the first Test, Pakistan Test skipper Shan Masood said when the teams come to Australia, they look for progress in their game.
The Pakistan batting struggled to stand up to the Australian attack on Day 3 of the opening Test at Perth, with the visitors, led by Shan Masood, staring down the barrel at 203/6 at the end of the first session of play on Saturday.
At the time of Day 2 stumps, Pakistan's score read 132/2 in 53 overs -trailing hosts by 355 runs- with Imam-ul-Haq (38) and Khurram Shahzad (7) unbeaten at the crease.
