Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday attended the 'Holi Milan Samaroh' at Shalimar Bagh Club Society, where she celebrated the festival with residents and made a key announcement regarding river transport in the city.
According to Delhi Police, some people pelted stones at the local body's vehicle that had come to conduct a drive against illegal encroachment in the Haiderpur village of Shalimar Bagh, damaging the MCD vehicle.
The walkathon started at around 7:00 AM and ended at around 9:00 AM. It brought together around 400 participants from various backgrounds to walk in support of equal opportunities, rights, and recognition for women.

Earlier on Tuesday, CM Gupta inspected the GTB hospital and lamented the previous Aam Aadmi Party government over the alleged wastage of healthcare equipment and 'poor state' of health infrastructure in the national capital.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed gratitude while meeting supporters on Friday and said that the Delhi government approved the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which the AAP 'blocked', in the first cabinet meeting itself.
