Champhai (Mizoram), February 5 (ANI): The 42nd Assam Rifles and a team of Champhai Police recovered 119 grams of heroin valued at over Rs 59 lakh from a vehicle while conducting random checking in a joint operation on Sunday.
The special cell of Delhi police had been investigating a case of counterfeit currency and had arrested five accused persons. During technical analysis, the Delhi police got leads that a person connected to their case was in Malad (E).
Police recovered 18 stolen bikes from the duo arrested from the Chirag Delhi area. The police have also arrested a person who used to purchase stolen motorcycles after interrogating the accused.
The Narcotics Cell of Delhi Police has busted an active supply chain of women drug peddlers in Outer North Delhi and recovered heroin worth Rs 10 lakh in the international market from their possession, officials said on Saturday.
