The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Mumbai busted an inter-state drug syndicate from Maharashtra's Thane and seized narcotics weighing 2 kg, officials said on Monday.
Border Security Force (BSF) troops on Sunday late night recovered 2.5 kg of heroin dropped by a Pakistani drone, which had entered into the Indian territory near Setha Wala village in Punjab's Ferozepur district.
The Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) of the Customs Department has seized 1,253 grams of gold worth Rs 57.20 lakhs at Kochi airport, said an official statement on Sunday.
"1 kg 108 gm MD worth Rs 1.21 crore was found in the possession of the duo who came from Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh and alighted at the Kharadi bus stop with the contraband," said DCP Crime Branch Pune City Police, Amol Zende.
Police seized a huge quantity of Fake Indian Currency Note (FICN) of Rs 29.31 lakh and apprehended a person in Assam's Nagaon district on Friday, said police.
ED has already attached and seized properties having a value of Rs 1117.71 Crore prior to the instant attachment. Total attachment in this case till date is 1171.71 Crore, according to an official statement.
