An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 on the Richter Scale jolted the New Ireland region of Papua New Guinea on Wednesday, the National Centre of Seismology (NCS) said.
A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Xizang on Thursday morning at 7:02 am IST, as reported by the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). The quake originated at a depth of 110 kilometres, with its epicentre located at latitude 29.76°N and longitude 92.17°E.
