An earthquake of magnitude 3.9 on the Richter scale jolted the Churachandpur region of Manipur on Wednesday, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
As per the NCS, the earthquake occurred at 7:20 pm (IST) at latitude 31.31 N, and longitude 72.52 E.The earthquake occurred at a depth of 111 kilometers.
According to NCS, the earthquake struck at a depth of 20 kilometres. The NCS said that the earthquake occurred at latitude 29.19 N and longitude 87.06 E.
An earthquake of magnitude 2.8 on the Richter scale was experienced in Arunachal Pradesh's Tawang on Friday, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
As per NCS, the tremors occurred at 8:49 IST, with its epicentre located at a latitude of 35.96 N and longitude of 25.79 E, at a depth of 104 kilometres.
