An FIR has been lodged against Janata Dal (Secular) leader and NDA candidate from Mandya on Saturday on grounds of "false statements" in connection with elections.
"This situation depicts the significant decline of the Congress party and the UDF, where they struggle to hold their party flag or that of their ally, the Muslim League, upright while seeking votes," Vijayan said during a press conference here.
"I don't think the manifesto is to break the country. I think the manifesto is to make the country strong and to keep it secular. That is what it is. And if anybody thinks otherwise, then they are already dividing the nation in their own ways," the National Conference told reporters.
