Saurabh Kumar, Secretary in the Ministry has been appointed as India's next ambassador to Belgium, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced in a press release. He will also be accredited as India's ambassador to the European Union.
Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Atul Malhari Gotsurve has been appointed as India’s next Ambassador to Mongolia, as per a release issued by the MEA.
The Indian side was led by Puneet R. Kundal, Joint Secretary (East & Southern Africa) and the Malawi side was led by Bernard H. Sande, Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malawi.
Singh has replaced Anurag Jain, who was appointed secretary in the ministry of road transport and highways. Prior to this, Singh was serving as secretary of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying under the ministry of fisheries, animal husbandry and dairying.
Nilakshi Sinha, currently a joint secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Armenia.
According to the release, Singh (IPoS 2011) has been appointed deputy secretary in the Ministry of Culture, under the Central Staffing Scheme, as well as the private secretary to the minister for Civil Aviation and Steel in the Ministry of Civil Aviation at the level of deputy secretary.
