With just two days left for the filing of nominations for the first phase ofthe Bihar Assembly polls, political activity is gearing up across the state, with NDA parties, including the BJP, Janata Dal (United), and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), announcing their candidates.
Speaking to ANI, Tagore said, "BJP is eating away the alliance partners. They are finishing Nitish Kumar and Upendra Singh Kushwaha. They are also finishing other parties in the alliance. It is in the DNA of the BJP to finish the friends who have been with them."
Chirag Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), on Wednesday, announced the first list of 14 candidates out of the 29 seats allotted to the party in the final seat-sharing distribution within the NDA for the Bihar Assembly elections.
Ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday expressed confidence in winning his seat from the Raghopur assembly constituency.
"There is no problem anywhere. As of now, Mahagathbandhan has neither provided the correct figures about their seat sharing nor announced their candidates. NDA will win by a two-thirds majority," Jaiswal told reporters.
