Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal said on Wednesday admitted that the agreement on seat sharing arrangement in Delhi between AAP and the Congress should have happened earlier.
"Samajwadi Party and Congress will contest Lok Sabha elections together. This will strengthen the INDIA alliance and INDIA will form its government in 2024. The opposition parties will contest the election together. We have tried to stop the scattering of non-BJP votes," Mehrotra told ANI

Since the February 8 elections, the PTI has been struggling to join the ranks of another party to ensure its reserved seats as the party-backed candidates had contested the elections as independents following the loss of its electoral symbol 'bat'.
