As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won all 29 Lok Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the election result is the third win of PM Modi against corruption and nepotism.
"People who voted this time, are higher in number than the total population of many countries. The voters of Jammu and Kashmir, have showed great enthusiasm by showing record turnout. They have shown a mirror to those who tried to defame India globally," PM Modi said.
Senior Congress leader and Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said on Tuesday that he expected the party to win more than 14 seats but the people "have given a message" as the party managed to win only 9 seats in the state in the Lok Sabha elections.

After winning the Mainpuri Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party leader and wife of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Dimple Yadav, thanked the people of Mainpuri Lok Sabha constituency and said the development of the constituency would be the priority of the party.
