Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met his Tajikistan counterpart, Lieutenant General Emomali Sobirzoda, on the sidelines of the SCO Defence Ministers' meeting in Qingdao, China.
He highlighted the recent Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, which was carried out by 'The Resistance Front' (TRF), a proxy of the UN-designated terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
At the SCO meet in Qingdao, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said India will not hesitate to target terrorism epicentres and has shown they are no longer safe. He called for steps to prevent youth radicalisation and praised the SCO's RATS mechanism for supporting counter-terror efforts.
