Lauding the Indian diaspora at the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that they are not only an ambassador of the countries but "Rashtradoots".
"On the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people, I reiterate India's unwavering support to the Palestinian cause," the statement reads.
Addressing the event, PM Modi said that schemes like 'Make in India' or 'Vocal for Local' are creating employment and self-employment opportunities in the country.
Birsa Munda, who belonged to the Munda tribe, was born on November 15 in 1875. During the British rule in the late 19th century, he spearheaded an Indian tribal religious Millenarian movement across the tribal belt of modern-day Bihar and Jharkhand.
