According to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Meerut, Antriksh Jain, Rajput's body was found with multiple stab wounds, including three on the left side, and cut marks on the neck and wrist. The most disturbing aspect is that both the wrist and neck were severed from the body.
Police said that the accused, Muskan Rastogi and her lover Sahil Shukla, who allegedly killed Saurabh Rajput and sealed his body part in a drum filled with cement, are having drug withdrawal system and being treated through de-addiction centres and counselling in jail.

According to a release, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, along with party office-bearers, MLAs, candidates, councillors, and a large number of workers, will attend the event. The event will begin at 4 PM at the party headquarters.
The case was registered under sections 420, 181 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Sirol police station in the district on Friday. The action was followed after Madhya Pradesh transport minister Uday Pratap Singh issued instructions to take cognizance into the matter on Thursday.
Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday staged a protest against the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Delhi government over the alleged non-implementation of Mahila Samman Yojana, which aim to provide a financial support of Rs 2,500 every month to women.

This decision follows the meeting of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Political Affairs Committee (PAC) meeting which was conducted at residence of AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal.
AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj on Friday said the BJP is now "tasting its own medicine" after Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta complained to Chief Secretary Dharmendra about officials ignoring calls and communications from elected MLAs.
