The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday opposed the bail plea of former Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain and informed the Supreme Court that it is a coincidence that whenever the hearing on bail takes place in court, Jain falls down unconscious.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday listed January 11 for further hearing on AAP leader Satyender Jain's bail plea in a money laundering case. On the next date of hearing, the Enforcement Directorate will begin his argument on the Jain bail plea.

The Central Bureau of Investigation has written to Delhi L-G VK Saxena seeking his sanction to register a case against former prison minister Satyendar Jain over allegations of extortion levelled by alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
The allegation comes after CBI sought Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena's permission to conduct an inquiry against former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain. The former minister allegedly took protection money from various prisoners, including money laundering accused Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
The CBI has also requested permission to investigate the then Tihar Jail Superintendent Danics officer Raj Kumar, who allegedly aided in extorting money from one of the prisoners.
A bench comprising Justice A.S. Bopanna and Justice Bela M. Trivedi extended the interim relief granted to Jain while adjourning the hearing of the bail plea till the next date of hearing.
The District Judge of Rouse Avenue Court on Saturday reserved an order on the plea of Sukesh Chandrasekar to transfer his case from one court to another.

The bench of Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma will pass judgement on April 6, 2023. The bench had kept the order reserved on March 21 after the conclusion of the submissions made by the defence and prosecution sides.
