Elon Musk's satellite internet service Starlink is preparing to commence operations in India after receiving its license last week, with sources indicating the company could begin offering services within the next two months.
Elon Musk-owned satellite internet company Starlink has been given license by the government to launch GMPCS (Global Mobile Personal Communication by Satellite) services, VSAT Services and ISP Category-A under unified license.
According to the recent report by Centrum, it beilves that SpaceX's satellite internet division, Starlink is not positioned to compete directly with major telecom operators like Reliance Jio, Airtel, or VIL.
