The Saman-1, along with a CubeSat and a research payload, was sent into space using a Simorgh launcher from the Imam Khomeini Space Launch Terminal on Friday.
The Indian Space Research Organisation is all set to launch the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV)-C59 /Proba-3 mission from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh at 4:08 PM on Wednesday.

External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Friday for the successful launch of the Earth Observation Satellite (EOS)-08 onboard the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV)-D3.
Randhir Jaiswal, the spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs said that the satellite was developed in Nepal, under the aegis of Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) and it will be launched on NSIL's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle on a gratis basis.
Taking to its official handle on microblogging site X, ISRO posted, "SSLV's third and final flight will launch the EOS-08 microsatellite on August 15, 2024, at 9.27 IST from Sriharikota. It completes the SSLV Development Project and enables operational missions by Indian industry and NSIL."
