Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said that the promises made in the NDA's "sankalp patra" are not just words on paper but a roadmap for Bihar's progress and a blueprint for the state's bright future.
The Prime Minister emphasised that in the National Democratic Alliance's "Sankalp Patra", provisions related to children's education, family healthcare, employment opportunities for the youth, and irrigation facilities for farmers have been made.
With Bihar heading into a high-stakes two-phase Assembly election on November 6 and 11, political tempers flared as leaders from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the opposition Mahagathbandhan exchanged sharp barbs over their respective manifestos.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday urged the people of Bihar to support the NDA alliance in the forthcoming assembly elections, highlighting the works done by the NDA government in the past and commitments outlined in the NDA's 'Sankalp Patra'.
Singh asserted that the NDA's 'Sankalp Patra', which represents a promise for the next five years with a vision to make Bihar a developed state, outlines a roadmap for Bihar's development, focusing on employment, women's entrepreneurship, urban sanitation, and industrial growth.
Union Minister Nityanand Rai highlighted the commitments outlined in the NDA's 'Sankalp Patra,' emphasising the achievement of promises made by the NDA government under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Speaking at Maner, Paswan said, "This resolution document is our promise for the next five years, which we are making with the vision of making Bihar a developed state... We will establish industries in every district. We have prepared this vision document with the complete roadmap."
He also highlighted the remarkable participation of Nari Shakti, noting the impressive demonstrations by women personnel in martial arts and unarmed combat drills.
The NDA has promised to provide over 1 crore government jobs and employment opportunities, conduct a skills census to provide skills-based employment, and establish mega skill centres in every district, transforming Bihar into a 'Global Skill Training' Centre.

The RJD leader also questioned Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's health, saying that the CM might not even be aware on what is written in the NDA's 'Sankalp Patra,' released six days before the Bihar assembly elections are set to commence.
