Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday attended as Chief Guest the centrally held ceremonial distribution of the Anundoram Borooah Award for 2023 organised at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra in Guwahati by the School Education Department of the Government of Assam.
"Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra," a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about the Centre's flagship schemes, started in Gujarat's Vadodara and Jamnagar on Wednesday.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being undertaken across the country with the aim to attain saturation of flagship schemes of the government through ensuring that the benefits of these schemes reach all targeted beneficiaries in a time-bound manner.
"Manik Saha is very religious and keeps attending almost all religious festivals and expressing his strong faith in God and his divine graces," the release from the Chief Minister's Office said.
