New Delhi [India], February 28: As the sacred waters of the Sangam return to their quiet flow and the echoes of hymns fade, Mahakumbh 2025 leaves behind both - spiritual awakenings, alongside a remarkable story of seamless travel and safety, thanks to the pioneering efforts of India Assist.

Yadav said that two minutes of silence should have been observed in memory of those who lost their lives. Thirty people lost their lives due to a stampede in the Sangam area of Maha Kumbh on January 29, and 18 people died due to a stampede at the New Delhi railway station earlier this month.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister attributed the success of Mahakumbh 2025 to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that in the last 45 holy days, more than 66 crore devotees have taken a dip in the holy Triveni.
"The Sangam ghat is visited by devotees all around the year and we ensure safety and cleanliness there. Today, till 8 pm, 1.53 crore people have taken holy dip in Prayagraj. 66.30 crore devotees have taken holy dip in the entire Mahakumbh period," said the DM.

As the last day of the Mahakumbh concludes today, foreign devotees have also arrived to take a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
Devotees in large numbers continue to arrive at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on the last day of Maha Kumbh 2025, coinciding with Maha Shivratri. The world's largest religious gathering, which began on Paush Purnima (January 13), concludes today.
Several Akharas participated in the Maha Kumbh, including Niranjani Akhada, Ahwan Akhada, and Juna Akhada, the largest Akhada in the Sanyasi tradition.
On witnessing the cultural grandeur on an unparalleled scale, Shekhar told ANI, "...This place is the Sangam of soul, conscience, body...culture, karma, religion. We are fortunate to have this opportunity to come here and take a holy dip..."
Himachal CM emphasized that Mahakumbh reflects India's rich culture and deep-rooted faith in age-old traditions. He highlighted the prominence of Indian culture since ancient times, as recorded in history.
