RSS leader Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi said that the people who have faith in Aurangzeb must visit his tomb. He stated that in 'our' tradition, people don't worry about a person after his death.
"Today, on the death anniversary of Swarajyarakshak Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, I visited the memorial site at Vadu Budruk in (Shirur Pune ) and paid my respects and gratitude," said Ajit Pawar.
Union Minister Ramdas Athawale on Saturday said that the demand to remove the tomb of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb is not right and appealed for peace in the State.
His remarks come as tensions rise amid violence in Nagpur over the demand to remove Aurangzeb's tomb situated in the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) district of Maharashtra.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena MLAs held a protest outside the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly for the removal of Aurangzeb's grave in Sambhajinagar.
Calling the Aurangzeb's grave a "symbol of slavery," Vishva Hindu Parishad Kshetra Mantri for Maharashtra and Goa, Govind Shende on Monday said that they will go on a statewide protest and march towards Sambhajinagar.
Reacting to the controversy surrounding Aurangzeb's grave and Vishva Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal's demand to remove it, Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar on Monday said that Bajrang Dal and VHP don't want the people of Maharashtra to live peacefully.
