Congress MP from the Tamil Sivaganga Lok Sabha constituency Karti Chidambaram, however, told ANI today that his party's partnership with the DMK is intact and that they will fight the upcoming election unitedly to defeat the opposition AIADMK-BJP alliance.
"The throne belongs to the Constitution, not to the ruling party in government. The way things are being imposed out of prejudice, with the opposition's voice being suppressed, is very saddening," Bhagat told ANI outside Parliament.
