The government is working on 'One nation, One policy' for Organ Donation and Transplant in India, under which the Union Health Ministry has discussed and consulted with states to come up with operational guidelines and other changes in organ donation.
K Annamalai urged Jaishankar's intervention in the matter and stated that the Sri Lankan government needs to be nudged to identify the people involved in the incident.
"We hope to co-host the third Summit of the Forum for India Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC) in the coming months and we would certainly value Fiji's presence and leadership on that occasion," the External Affairs Minister said.
