At the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina arrived in India today to pay a State visit from June 21 to 22.
On External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar's recent visit to Sri Lanka, Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that his visit underscores India's primacy that we accord to Sri Lanka in a neighbourhood-first policy as also as (Security and Growth for All in the Region
This visit will give a "major boost" to India-Bangladesh ties, Official Spokesperson, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Randhir Jaiswal in a social media post said that.
"Under the leadership of PM Modi, the practice of Yoga which was earlier limited to our country has reached every corner of the world. Everybody is becoming a part of it. I want to appeal to everyone to include yoga in their regular lives to remain healthy," Nadda said.
On the occasion of Internation Day of Yoga, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar performed yoga with other diplomats in the national capital and said that yoga has been a great bonding point for different cultures when it comes to building international relations.
In a statement following the meeting, Jaishankar underscored the importance of India's initiatives in Sri Lanka, aimed at fulfilling the aspirations of its people.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar arrived in Colombo on Thursday as he embarked on his first visit after the beginning of the new term. He will hold meetings with the leadership of Sri Lanka.
