Power tariff in Rajasthan will reduce once the state starts receiving 20-22 racks of coal from the mine allocated to Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) in Chhattisgarh, said the Minister of state for energy (independent charge) in Rajasthan Government, Hiralal Nagar.

Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], March 26 (ANI): Chhattisgarh government has permitted Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) to undertake mining in Parsa East and Kanta Basan coal block in the second phase. RVUNL has been permitted to undertake coal mining in 1,136 hectare area.
