Russia's forces have captured a village in northeastern Ukraine, an area that has seen a growing concentration of Russian armies, Moscow's Defence Ministry said.

Regarding the Russian president's forthcoming visit to Turkey, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that no date has been established, but that talks are ongoing and that Vladimir Putin is expected to visit in August, according to Turkish News Agency Anadolu Ajansi (AA).
