As many as 39 passenger trains to Delhi are running behind schedule as dense fog conditions continue to prevail in the national capital, resulting in low visibility, railway officials said on Friday.
As many as 20 trains are expected to arrive late in the national capital on Monday due to fog in several parts of the country, the railway officials said.
Dense fog and low visibility have disrupted train movement and 26 trains to Delhi from various parts of the country are running late in the northern region of the country on Thursday.
The Delhi airport reported delays in flight operations affecting approximately 134 flights, both arrivals and departures (domestic and international), due to fog. As many as 22 trains were delayed at the New Delhi Railway Station as well, amid low visibility.

While Darbhanga-New Delhi Clone Special and Barauni-NewDelhi Clone Special are running late by over 4 hours, Raigarh-Hazrat Nizamuddin Gondwana Express, and Raxaul-Anand Vihar Terminal Sadbhavana Express are running behind schedule by 3:00 hours and 3:30 hours respectively, officials said.
According to railway officials, Batia-Anand Vihar Terminal Clone Special is running late by
five-and-a-half hours and Barauni-NewDelhi Clone Special is delayed by four hours.
