Several BJP MPs launched a scathing attack at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his alleged behaviour during a ruckus in Parliament on Friday, accusing the Leader of Opposition of "arrogance," "violating parliamentary rules," and a "shameful attitude" towards fellow MPs.
Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal on Thursday criticised the ruckus in the Parliament premises, saying that in the history of Parliament, he has never seen such an incident.
The incident took place after Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, who also serves as the Chancellor of the university, participated in an international Sanskrit seminar titled "Global Issues and the Sanskrit Knowledge System", in the Senate Hall of the university's Palayam campus.
