Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday participated in the centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as the Chief Guest at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will celebrate its centenary year from Vijayadashami (Dussehra) 2025 to Vijayadashami 2026, marking 100 years since its founding in 1925 by Dr KB Hedgewar.
"If the Sangh is saying this, then Mohan Bhagwat ji should immediately issue a directive to all RSS members to get married and follow what he has said. In Sangh, everyone is roaming unmarried," Rai said while speaking to ANI.
The RSS chief's comments come amid the government's preparation for the 2027 census, which will give updated demographic data across the country since 2011, including the birth rate.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) marked the beginning of its centenary celebrations with a three-day event in Delhi, where RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat addressed members and well-wishers.
As part of this, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Tuesday launched the centenary events with a three-day lecture series at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The series starts on August 26 and will end on August 28, featuring evening discussions each day.
