The Rouse Avenue court in New Delhi on Saturday issued a notice to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Bansuri Swaraj in a revision moved by former Delhi Minister Satyender Jain.
The court has granted him bail on furnishing a personal bond of Rs. 5 lakh and a surety bond in the like amount. They directed the accused to deposit his passport in court. The court has also imposed some other considerations.
Meanwhile, the court has called a Status report from DCP North West with respect to procuring the material from social media platform X related to the post, allegedly made by the accused.
