Anti-Gang Squad (AGS) of the Delhi Police's Crime Branch arrested a dreaded criminal involved in five heinous crimes from the Uttar Nagar East Metro Station area of the city, officials said on Tuesday.
According to the Special Commissioner of Police, Ravinder Yadav, the crime branch arrested a sharpshooter of 'Chenu Gang' identified as Mohit Chauhan (26), a native of Chaman Vihar area of Loni in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Two policemen were arrested red-handed by an Anti-corruption Branch team for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 50,000 in a bike robbery case in Haryana's Panchkula, police said on Saturday.

The suspects were identified as Islam Uddin and Fazer Ali, both residents of Companiganj, Bangladesh, who had stolen parts of machinery involved in the border fence construction and had plans to carry out a robbery in villages along the international boundary also.
A cash collection agent was shot dead during a robbery at Delhi's Shahdara District under the GTB Enclave police station area on Friday evening, said police.
As per details, three robbers were caught red-handed by the outrageous crowd in Orangi Town's Sector 14C. Two were tortured to death while one managed to escape.
The arrested accused have been identified as Chandra Dev Pandey(23), a resident of Delhi's Shashtri Nagar, Vivek Kumar (28), and Vipin Yadav (24) - both natives of Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, police said.
A Delhi Court has recently discharged the accused persons of the offence of robbery in view of the absence of relation between the assault and offence of the theft and said that the hurt caused must be intended with the object of facilitating the committing of the theft.
