Police said that a PCR call was received in the police station at around 5 am in PS V K North, informing them that a woman was found unconscious on the Mahipalpur Bypass road. Immediately, police reached the spot, i.e., opposite CISF gate No. 01, Mahipalpur Bypass road.
"The accused has been identified and arrested. Now, he will be produced in court. The accused has a political background. All necessary actions, medical tests, and blood samples have all been collected and sent for analysis to the concerned hospital and lab," the official said.
