The Bihar minister Alok Kumar Mehta on Monday in a letter addressed to the Station Incharge of the Secretariat police station alleged that he received death threats from two people over a call on his registered official mobile number.

National Head General Secretary of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Tuesday sent a show cause notice to Bihar MLA Sudhakar Singh for making remarks against Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
"His context was different; he is not questioning lord Rama or Ramayana. He is only raising questions on a few particular sentences," RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari said.
