The meeting of Cauvery Water Regulation Committee (CWRC) has decided that Karnataka has to ensure release of 3000 cusecs of water starting October 16 till October 31, said a CWRC statement on Wednesday.
The legislative resolution passed in the Tamil Nadu assembly against the Karnataka government over the Cauvery water dispute was unilateral, said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president K Annamalai on Tuesday.
