Russia has requested the United Nations Security Council to convene on January 12 in connection with strikes carried out by the United States and the United Kingdom in Yemen.
The two leaders discussed issues related to defence, economic cooperation and how India and UK could work together to strengthen a peaceful and stable global rules-based order.
Lauding the ties between the two nations, the UK Minister of State, Lord Tariq Ahmed, said that PM Modi defined the living bridge between the United Kingdom and India. He also conveyed British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's greetings to his Indian counterpart, PM Modi.
The Defence Minister would be accompanied by a high-level Ministry of Defence delegation, comprising senior officials from DRDO, Service Headquarters, the Department of Defence, and the Department of Defence Production.
