A blistering century by Rishabh Pant followed by Hardik Pandya's fifty guided Team India to a five-wicket victory over England in the series decider of the three-match series here at Manchester on Sunday.
Pant smashed an unbeaten 125 runs off 113 balls while Pandya scored 71 runs off 55 balls to help the Men in Blue chase down the target of 260 runs in just 42.1overs. For England Reece Topley bagged three wickets, while Brydon Carse and Craig Overton scalped one wicket each.
Sehwag said he liked the idea of Pant opening the batting and also praised Bhuvenshwar Kumar for the "top" class bowling following India's win over England.

Though India maintained their aggressive intent as displayed in the previous match, this time it was English bowlers who took advantage of it by taking regular wickets
Wicketkeeper-batter Pant helped put India on top early in the Test against England with 146 runs off just 111 balls in the first innings then followed up with 57 later in the match.
