Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Dehradun's Max hospital on Sunday afternoon to see the star cricketer Rishabh Pant, who is undergoing treatment after getting seriously injured in a road accident near Roorkee.
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday said that his government will on Republic Day honour the driver and operator of Haryana Roadways, who saved the life of cricketer Rishabh Pant.
Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) Director Shyam Sharma on Saturday flagged concerns over visitors flocking to visit Indian cricketer, Rishabh Pant, who is under treatment in a hospital in Uttarakhand.
"He is stable and recovering well. Our BCCI doctors are in touch with the doctors here. Jay Shah is monitoring it. As of now, he'll remain admitted here. He told me that he tried to save (his car) from a pothole (when the accident occurred)," said Shyam Sharma.
Looking at the accident of Rishabh Pant former India cricketer and selector has urged youngsters not to drive their car too fast and has requested the nation to pray for Pant's speedy recovery.
Pant escaped the near-fatal accident on Friday with burn injuries among others that will require plastic surgeries and he could be airlifted to Delhi if required. He met with a serious accident while returning from Delhi to Roorkee as his car collided with the divider on the Narsan border of
Uttarakhand Police have announced to honor the driver of Haryana Roadways and other persons who helped Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant after he narrowly escaped death after his high-end vehicle smashed into a road barrier and caught fire on the Delhi-Dehradun highway on Friday.
"I asked him why he was driving at that point of time early morning. He said that he was going to pay a surprise visit to his mother," Dr Sushil Nagar said.
