Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday said that the state government will file a review petition before the Cauvery Water Management Authority (CWMA) and the Supreme Court on September 30, as the state does not have water and so cannot release it.
A three-judge bench has been constituted by the Supreme Court to hear the review petitions against its judgment upholding the validity of the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The matter would be heard by October 18.

The Pakistan Supreme Court on Monday reserved its verdict on pleas challenging the recent act which expands the scope of the review petition, Pakistan-based Dawn reported.
In his review petition, Kejriwal said the postgraduate degree of Modi was not available on the website of the university or elsewhere in the public domain as claimed by the university and as submitted by Solicitor-General Tushar Mehta, who appeared on behalf of the university.
